Farmer Paul loves cows! He grew up on a dairy farm. He met Shelly at Ohio State and the rest is history. He still loves cows today. His job at Mitchell's Berries is Shelly's main hired help and of course make videos. Top secret he does work for radishes. He loves to tell you how things are going on the farm.

Shelly grew up right here on the farm. She didn't want to stay on the farm. She wanted to be a dietitian for the Cleveland Indians. You can see how that went. She met a guy at OSU and had to follow the cows and Paul. Berrygirl loves anything berry from picking them to creating everything yummy in her kitchen. Shelly She got her love of growing things from her Dad, Farmer Jim and her Grandma. She loves flowers and is excited about adding the blooms to Mitchell's Berries.
Mitchell's Berries & Blooms
It all started out with sweet corn, an old bathtub and a peanut butter jar. In the early years our mission was to make extra money. In 2006 we moved to our current location and started with raspberries. Our oldest son Jake doubled our raspberry production and begged us to add strawberries for years. He left for college. Surprise, surprise, surprise we added strawberries. It was one of the best new crops we ever added. Our produce and mission has changed over the years. Today we offer UPick berries and flowers to bring people back to the farm. Berrygirl loves to party so unique events are just another way to bring people to the farm. We are passionate about agriculture and hope you love your experience at Mitchell's Berries & Blooms.
