What is a grain bin?
A grain bin has been used for grain storage since early 20th century. The corrugated steel sheets are durable and easy to transport and assemble. Earlier wooden silos had many drawbacks such as rotting, pest infestations and fires.
Today our grain bin represents our roots in grain farming. It acts as the heart of our garden. We can offer hospitality through serving food and beverages and it comes complete with metal stools.

The first thing you see when you enter the garden through the barn is the Ginkgo tree. Shelly loves trees so we knew we needed several trees in the garden. The west entrance features two Yoshino cherry trees.
